Our Teachers

Meet the Teachers of Music Together Scissortail Songbirds

Our teachers come from all sorts of backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing music with children and families in Central Oklahoma!

All teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Jennifer has been teaching music for almost 20 years! She found Music Together in 2013 after a friend invited her to a demo class when her oldest child was a baby, and she has been attending classes with her three kids ever since. In 2024 she opened Music Together Scissortail Songbirds to share her love for music with her community. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in music performance from Stephen F. Austin State University and has played the flute for 30 years.
